A Call For Art Supplies

Following a pre-Christmas campaign in London, ON to collect art supplies for indigenous children in northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, boxes were recently shipped to Christine Maracle in The Pas, MB, filled with all sorts of crafty items.

Christine is the Youth Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Keewatin-Le Pas, a position funded by Northern Bridge Community Partnership. Christine will use the supplies as she visits various communities within the 430,000 square kilometers catchment area she serves. Christine works with youth communities that have limited or no access to art supplies due to financial constraints or community remoteness. She gratefully received the donations and is certain the children will be overjoyed with upcoming groups and sessions.
